TP7 Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide developed at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is a structural analog of the endogenous immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg) with an added Pro-Gly-Pro sequence that enhances its stability and metabolic half-life.Key characteristics include: Anxiolytic and Nootropic Effects: Selank is designed to provide anti-anxiety effects without sedation, cognitive impairment, or addiction potential, making it distinct from traditional anxiolytics.   Neurotransmitter Modulation: It enhances GABAergic signaling, increases serotonin metabolism, and modulates dopaminergic and noradrenergic tone, contributing to its nootropic effects.
